About the Group

This position is offered within the South Horizons Holding AG, a Swiss holding group that unites its
wholesale-supplier subsidiaries in Germany and Hong Kong, specialized in solutions for bulk material
handling. The group‘s portfolio ranges from rubber conveyor belts and wear protection to installation
tools and equipment, serving clients across global markets.

The Head of Procurement & Logistics will operate in a group-wide capacity, serving the procurement
needs of three subsidiaries sales units:

• Quaddro Grop GmbH (Germany) distributing conveyor belts and components in the
D-A-CH market under the brand Ambelt® (www.ambelt.de)

• Vasco Global Limited (Hong Kong) distributing conveyor belts and components
internationally (www.vasco-global.com)

• Forech Europe Wear Protection GmbH (Germany) is a joint venture with Indian
manufacturer Forech, specializing in pulley lagging, wear protection, and rubber for
the D-A-CH market (www.forech.de)

The Role

To support its international growth and ensure resilient, future-proof sourcing and logistic across the
group, we are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement & Logistics.

This is a cross-functional leadership role with global responsibility for sourcing, supplier development,
quality control, inventory management, and logistics coordination. While sourcing activities are primarily
based in Asia, the customer and operational scope extends worldwide.

You will lead a highly committed team of 4–5 professionals and act as a strategic partner to the executive
management. Closely collaborating with the sales organization, you will ensure business continuity,
sourcing efficiency, logistics reliability, and customer-focused service excellence.

• Procurement Leadership: Oversee all sourcing and purchasing activities of finished goods,
with responsibility for contract negotiations, cost optimization, and supplier relationship
management.

• Supplier Development & Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish new supplier
relationships; monitor geopolitical and raw material market trends; implement strategies to
secure a sustainable and resilient sourcing of goods.

• Inventory Management: Manage stock levels across our warehouses and customer
consignment sites, ensuring availability and coordinating timely replenishment through
efficient warehouse operations.

• Logistic Management: Administrate the end-to-end logistics chain with responsibilities that
include container configuration and consolidation, cost and load optimization, customs
and compliance documentation, and ensure on-time shipments with smooth inbound
handling at our warehouses. In addition, you will manage outbound logistics, primarily road
transport, ensuring cost-efficient and timely deliveries to customers and consignment
stock locations. Performance of partners is monitored via defined KPIs, while logistics
structures and digital tools are continuously developed to enhance planning, tracking, and
overall supply chain transparency.

• Quality Control and Management (QCM): Establish and manage robust quality control
processes to guarantee all products meet customer-specific standards.

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the international procurement & logistics team in
Germany, Hong Kong and Shanghai with focus on performance, collaboration, and customer
satisfaction.

• Strategic Development: Contribute to long-term procurement strategies, process optimization,
and digitalization initiatives to enhance supply chain transparency and efficiency.

proven ability to navigate intercultural settings with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring effective
communication and collaboration with both team members and suppliers from diverse cultural backgrounds
with focus on Europe and Asia.

The ideal candidate has a structured and organized personality, reliable in follow-ups, consistent in
performance with ownership of tangible results.

• Proven experience in procurement of industrial goods. Ideally, additional experience in
logistics, supply chain management and/or inventory management.
• Strong technical affinity with the ability to quickly grasp technical specifications
and product details.
• Intercultural competence and proven ability to build supplier relationships and
networks.
• Track record in team leadership.
• Organized, structured, equipped with analytical skills.
• A hands-on mentality to solve challenges effectively and efficiently.
• Willingness for international travel.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); German and/or Mandarin is considered as desired.
